How To Apply for FUOYE Student loan  

  

            Federal University Oye-Ekiti has made plans for students with less privilege , students who are unable to pay their school fee due to one reason or the other and to avoid being sent out in the examination hall, that's why FUOYE created a Student Loan where you have the opportunity to pay your school fee on credit and repay installmentally (most times Monthly) till the month is complete.

            In this article , I will be guilding you on the steps involve and all the process you need to follow to get the student loan

        Steps Involve To Apply For Student Loan 

• visit Student Affairs
• Get Approval from School Bursar
• P2Vest Educational Portal
• Update your profile
• Loan payment and repayment

                            Visit Student Affairs 

                The first step involved in getting a loan in Federal University Oye-Ekiti or any related institution offering a loan to their students is to visit the students affair of the university and obtain a student loan form .

What Does the Loan Form Contains?

                    The form you will be given to fill contains all your personal details, including your department, course, Faculty and other information for easy loan payment and retrieval.

Once you have successfully filled the form , the the next process will follow;

                 Getting Approval From School Bursar

                After you have successfully completed the loan form, the next thing that follows is for you to get approval from the school Bursar, the form you filled will be taken to the Bursar's desk for approval Getting approval varies depending if you meet the terms and condition of the loan you applied for. If you do not specify a tangible means of how you will repay the money back you might not be approved and if your guidance or guarantor does not support it, you will have no choice than to forfeit it. So getting approval is 90% dependent of you.  

                Once you are approved , kindly move on to the third stage 

                    P2VEST Education Portal

             The next step to follow after getting approval from the bursar is to proceed to to P2VEST website , then navigate to it's educational portal. Kindly follow the step below to get it done for easy access;

1. Visit P2VEST website
2. Navigate to Educational Portal
3. Click on create account
4. Sign up with your matric number and select your university 
   
   
   
5. Click on Continue
6. Your school information will be displayed
   
   
   
7. Click on process
8. OTP will be sent to your email or number provided
9. Fill in the OTP
10. Create a password
11. Create a new pin
12. Update your profile by providing details of your next of kin

Steps to Apply for Loan on the P2VEST PORTAL

 After you have successfully registered on P2VEST, the next thing is to apply for the pre-approved loan by the bursar. kindly follow the procedure below to apply for it;

• Enter the amount you need
• Fill in the tenure for payment (it has been prefilled as Months)
• Select the duration of the month(s) you will use to make the full repayment
• Accept terms and conditions
• Click on Continue
• After submitting, you will be taken to the next page which is LOAN SCHEDULE
  
  
  
• scroll down and click on Continue

  Guarantor's Information Page

On the Guarantor page you will be required to  fill in the details below;

• Guarantor First name
• Guarantor's last name
• Email
• Phone number
• Relationship

Once you are done filling it, click on Continue

Enter your pin

Loan Repayment

 The duration of the loan you applied for should be convenient for you to make easy repayment. the loan is meant to be paid monthly till the end of the duration.
